Synopsis
A favorite of young readers since 1960, The Cricket in Times Square is a story of friendship between Tucker Mouse, Harry Cat, and a very talented insect named Chester. The tale unfolds in the New York City newsstand owned by the family of Mario Bellini, a small boy with a big heart. United by their love for Mario, the trio of animal friends transform the family's struggling newsstand into a thriving destination where throngs of New Yorkers gather to hear the harmonious sounds of Chester Cricket, the musical sensation of Times Square.
